I have been involved in SCCA autocross since 2013.  I’ve autocrossed several vehicles (Mustang GT, Subaru WRX STI, Evo MR) but primarily I autocross my 2013 Focus ST.  I’ve had some pretty good results over the years as follows

  • 2014 – First place GS Class
  • 2015 – First place STX Class
  • 2016 – First place in SMF Class, 6th place in overall PAX for the 2016 Season
  • 2017 – First place in STX Class, 4th place in overall PAX for the 2017 Season
  • 2017 NEPA Regional Solo – 2nd place in STX

Aside from my autocross success, I am also a successful leader in my Region and am known to neighboring regions as such. Some examples of my influence in the community are as follows

  • SCCA-CPR Assistant Regional Executive 2014 – 2015, 2017 – 2018SCCA-CPR Chief of Timing, Registration, and Scoring 2014 – 2018
  • SCCA-CPR Chief of Safety 2017 – 2018
  • SCCA Solo Safety Steward 2015 – 2019
  • Solo Junior Driver Safety Steward 2018 – 2021

If you can’t tell I absolutely LOVE autocross, not just the competition aspect but the friends aspect.  Autocrossers are typically a great bunch of people and it’s easy to consider one another ‘family’, we are always looking to help one another out when in need!

Recently my wife and I also got involved in car shows.  We entered the annual Bellefonte Cruise (over 400 entrants) and placed second in ‘Ford Stock’ with our 2018 Ford Focus Limited Edition.  We plan to participate in more car shows in the future (of course autocross is my first love!)
